Today's photo topic is taking pictures of your Pet! Here are the visuals:
Every animal is different, and there are some great ways to get good quality images of your pets. The key is getting the eyes. Reflections in the eyes can make the eyes come alive. Pay attention to their gaze. Eyes that look into your camera will have the most strength. Make some noise to catch their attention, but be ready because it won't last long. Don't offer treats because they will try and come get them and come too close. Also, use a telephoto lens.
Capture the personality of your animal. If your camera has a Pets feature, it'll have an algorithm that will focus on your pet's eyes.
Our next photo assignment is - X . Take a photo of, about, or otherwise concerning the concept of "X" and then post it to the Tech Guy Group on Flickr. Make sure to tag it with the word "tgxcross" as well! And if Chris likes it, it could end up on next month's photo contest review segment!
And don't forget to check out Chris' new one on one photography workshop Photo Sensei.
