- Proxy server has to allow traffic on ports 110 and 25 for email
- Then you set Outlook configuration to make use of the proxy
- Take a look at Proxy Firewall
Q Router drops out sometimes on XP machine
- Click start, run, and type in “cmd”
- Then type “ipconfig /renew”
- This will refresh the Internet connection on the PC
- Gets a new IP
- Then type “ipconfig /renew”
- If that doesn’t work, someone else will have a solution
- Try a static IP for the PC
- Doing a hard reset on the router with a pin on the back of the router
