Snapchat Spectacles are sunglasses that have a camera and connect to your phone so you can send snaps from your point of view. You just press the button on the frame, and it will take 10 seconds of video. An LED ring then appears on the front of the frame to show others you're recording. When other people view your snaps taken with Spectacles, they can see it either in the portrait or landscape orientation. Since it records a circular video, it will appear right side up no matter how you rotate your phone.
Spectacles come with one charging case, one charging cable, and one cleaning cloth. The glasses are designed to take up to 100 snaps on a single charge. They'll also charge when they're in the case, which allows for up to four full charges.
Spectacles are a lot of fun, but they aren't easy to get. Currently, you can only buy them from "Snapbot" vending machines that appear in various locations. There's no way to know where those bots may appear, but you can keep checking spectacles.com/map to find out where it may be. Spectacles come in a variety of colors, including black, coral, and teal.
Snapchat Spectacles cost $129.99.
