Apple iPhone 8 & iPhone 8 Plus

Apple iPhone 8 and 8 Plus

Apple's iPhone 8 and 8 Plus feature a new all-glass design that is color matched with an aluminum band surrounding it. The glass back allows for wireless charging, and iPhone 8 supports the Qi standard that is compatible with many third party charging mats that are already available.

iPhone 8 comes in two sizes: the 4.7 inch iPhone 8 and the 5.5 inch iPhone 8 Plus. It now has a True Tone display with wide color gamut, similar to the recent iPad Pros. True Tone automatically adjusts the white balance to match the light in your environment, so whites will look more like paper in the real world. The screen also has dual-domain pixels, which gives the screen better viewing angles.

The camera on iPhone 8 is also updated. It now features a 12MP camera with a larger and faster sensor. Apple has also added optical image stabilization to the smaller phone. The 8 Plus will get a new Portrait Lighting feature in addition to Portrait Mode, which gives you the ability to virtually change the lighting conditions. You can even black out the entire background for a more dramatic effect.

iPhone 8 and 8 Plus now feature the new A11 Bionic chip inside. It includes four efficiency cores that are up to 70% faster than the A10 Fusion that was previously used. There are also two performance cores that operate up to 25% faster. This means it can deliver more power to the phone, while still maintaining the same or better battery life. There's also a new Apple-designed three-core GPU that is 30% faster than the A10 Fusion. This new A11 chip will power the upcoming augmented reality apps that will be available in the App Store.

iPhone 8 and 8 Plus comes in Silver, Gold, or Space Gray and has either 64GB or 256GB of internal storage. The 4.7 inch iPhone 8 starts at $699 and the iPhone 8 Plus starts at $799.
