Joe just got the 12.9" iPad Pro and he loves it. Leo says it's the fastest computer they've ever made, but they have to let iOS keep up with it, instead of holding it back. Now he's looking at a Vizio P Series 75" TV or a Samsung Q7 model.
Questions - Wayne wants to get a 4K TV. What model should he get, the Vizio P Series or the Sony Bravia? The Sony X900F is about $2000, and the Vizio P Series is close to the same price. Scott says don't get the X850F, even though it's $500 cheaper. It has an edge lit LED backlight, and that could cause uneven lighting. The X900F and the Vizio P series use full array local dimming, so it's illumination is more uniform and has better contrast. Worth the extra money.
Doug just bought a new, two story house and he needs a mesh router. What's the best? Leo says that mesh routers have taken over because Wi-Fi congestion causes devices to drop off. It's not uncommon to have over 50 devices connected to Wi-Fi! And that doesn't include neighbors. So Doug will need a better router to handle that traffic. Leo says the three best mesh routers for his money are the Netgear Obi, the Plume, and the Eero.
