Scott's daughter wants a camera with a flip out screen so she can look at the viewfinder image while she's recording for her YouTube channel. A lot of camcorders do that. Some DSLRs do it, but they may not go all the way around.
Danny wants to make videos for his kids at school who have problems learning. He got a podcaster kit and he's looking for a screen to go in front of the microphone. Leo says it's called a "Dead Cat." There's also a circular screen called a "pop screen" and Leo uses the BSW REPOP Pop Filter. But that's for a directional microphone. For omnidirectional microphones, it's called a Dead Cat.
Jonathan is going to VidCon. He does video game commentary and is looking foward to learning more. Leo says VidCon is a great place to go. He also recommends checking out TWITCH, which offers not only playing, but streaming game play online.
What camera does he need for vlogging at Vidcon? He needs a wireless hookup. Leo says that a wireless microphone solution is more expensive and it's a pain because of interference. Stick with a wired solution for that. Leo says a lot of people just use their smartphones.
