How can I listen to The Tech Guy show on my phone?

iHeartRadio

Episode 1431

Jerry from Pennsylvania

Jerry used to be able to listen to Leo's show on his phone, but he hasn't been able to lately. Leo says that there are dozens of ways to listen to the show and he recommends iHeartRadio to do so. What's happened is that many radio stations have opted not to provide their own streams due to cost. They are more in favor of having it stream from a central app, which is iHeartRadio. Jerry can also listen through TWIT.tv.

Shouldn't we back up people as well as data?

cloud backup

Episode 1068

Louis from Hollywood, CA

Louis says that he thinks in addition to backing up our data, we should "back up" people. What he means by that is redundancy of capable people so that companies aren't reliant on just one person to solve problems, especially in IT. Leo says he agrees, which is why he does things like show notes, and the TWiT Wiki. In fact, he's also trying to put together a Wiki of what everyone does at the Brickhouse Studios. Leo is breaking ground on running a TV station on the Internet, and as such, things often go awry.

Why am I having problems streaming TWiT through Ustream on iPad?

TWiT iPad app

Episode 984

George from Santa Monica, CA

George has been having trouble streaming the Tech Guy through the iPad with Ustream. Leo says that's because Ustream uses Flash. If he prefers to watch from the browser, it could be that UStream's HLS Streamer was down. There is a TWiT App that works, but Leo can't do anything about third party sites like Ustream not working.
