Qingnan is looking to get a Windows Surface Book. Leo had one and he thought it was an interesting design, but it fell short on performance. The second version is about to drop and it's supposed to be better, though. Qingnan is confused though with the processor designation — it has two different processors claiming it's the 8th generation. Leo says that's marketing and often times that can be confusing.
Lorna wants to know if she can get a new laptop and use it as a desktop. Leo says yes. She can always plug it into a bigger monitor at home. She could also get a dock which will charge it and connect to a monitor and keyboard without having to connect cables. It's a great option. Dell makes a good one. Microsoft has one with the Surface Book laptop, but it's not cheap.
George bought a new Microsoft Surface Book 3. He was hoping it would be more consistent with Windows 10. How can he turn off the log in and just have it always logged in? Leo says he can type the Windows key + R, and type "Users" and disable the password requirement for logging in. George could also go into the power settings and have it not log out or go to sleep as fast.
