John is starting to get strange sounds when his phone charges. It's like a railroad sound. Leo says it sounds like a notification sound for charging. It can be turned off in the settings. Leo also recommends scheduling a DO NOT DISTURB session when you go to sleep, with no notifications after a certain hour.
Mark has an iPhone 7, but it's stopped notifying him when he gets a new email or text. Leo recommends trying a different notification sound. But it could be time to back up the phone and then start over. He can do that with iTunes. Then do a complete reset.

Jay is being bothered by third party cookies and notifications. Is that still a security risk? Leo says that websites don't want to wait for you to come to them, they want to push their content to you. Leo always says no by default, and he also recommends browsers like Firefox and Brave, that will globally say no to notifications. It's in their app settings. Cookies, by contrast, get a bad wrap. Cookies aren't really dangerous. They basically save settings so when you return to a site, you don't have to enter your password again.
After upgrading his iPhone 6S+ and his son's iPhone 7 to 13.1.2, Rich's phones began to get a bunch of old email notifications from Apple's mail application. Leo thinks it could be something within his iCloud client that's causing his phone to popup old email notifications, so it's best to check there. It is also possible that during the update to 13.1.2, the update could have done something to the iCloud application on Rich's phones. Unfortunately, when these issues occur with the app on the phone, it can be reflected in the iCloud client.
Diana is having issues with her iPhone 6S+ camera after the Apple Store updated her phone to the latest supported software, has had notifications popping up more frequently, and wants to fix it to continue using it. Leo says you can uninstall the apps on your phone to clear up space & anything that would be bogging down the use of your camera. You can also disable notification popups within your apps, but you will need to do it manually with each app.
John bought two Wyze Cams for his security, and he's constantly being notified of movement. Can he fine tune it to be more selective? Leo says that because they are so economical, the software is fairly basic. He can go into the settings and limit notifications per hour though.
Cindy has a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and sometimes she hears a fluctuation in volume, like it's going from stereo to mono. Leo says to be sure the phone is in Do Not Disturb mode. Notifications can disrupt sound to her speakers when they appear.
Sophia's notification volume is too low on Bluetooth. Leo says that there are different volume settings for listening to music, watching a video, getting a call and even notifications. So she'll need to go into the settings to find it. She'll also want to be sure her Bluetooth volume is up.
Scott has a Motorola Moto G5. He recently did a hard reset and he keeps getting notification dings, but doesn't know why. Leo says to turn on the on screen notifications and it should let him know what the alert is for.
