Adam's father isn't getting the notification sounds on his Android phone. Leo says to make sure the volume rocker is turned up for notifications. It has a separate volume control. Turn it up. Notifications on Samsung Android phones work that way. Press the volume rocker control and hold it down until the volume control settings pop up. Then modify the notification sound settings.
John doesn't get notifications from YouTube anymore, even though he selects the notification bell on the channel. Leo says to check YouTube settings to make sure that notification settings are turned on. Make sure email is turned on in your preferences. Check the spam folder to see if they're getting routed into spam from the inbox. Also, select PUSH.

Leo says that websites don't want to wait for you to come to them, they want to push their content to you. Leo always says no by default, and he also recommends browsers like Firefox and Brave, that will globally say no to notifications. It's in their app settings. Cookies, by contrast, get a bad wrap. Cookies aren't really dangerous. They basically save settings so when you return to a site, you don't have to enter your password again.
After upgrading his iPhone 6S+ and his son's iPhone 7 to 13.1.2, Rich's phones began to get a bunch of old email notifications from Apple's mail application. Leo thinks it could be something within his iCloud client that's causing his phone to popup old email notifications, so it's best to check there. It is also possible that during the update to 13.1.2, the update could have done something to the iCloud application on Rich's phones. Unfortunately, when these issues occur with the app on the phone, it can be reflected in the iCloud client.
Diana is having issues with her iPhone 6S+ camera after the Apple Store updated her phone to the latest supported software, has had notifications popping up more frequently, and wants to fix it to continue using it. Leo says you can uninstall the apps on your phone to clear up space & anything that would be bogging down the use of your camera. You can also disable notification popups within your apps, but you will need to do it manually with each app.
