Leo says the next iPhone will come out in September, and will likely have a faster processor and memory. There may also be an improved camera. There's also speculation that there will be some haptic Force Touch features on the screen. There's a lot of speculation, but in the end we don't really know. Leo says there's no real need to wait unless he really wants to. Another option is to get an iPhone 5 and then pick up the iPhone 6 Plus when it's available.

Kris would like to move her iPhone 4 from AT&T to Verizon. Leo says she can't. The phones are the same model, but the iPhone 4 on AT&T has a GSM radio, and the Verizon model uses CDMA. She could get it unlocked and use it on T-Mobile, though. But to go from AT&T to Verizon, she'll need an iPhone 5 or above. In fact, if she can go to Verizon and say she wants to leave AT&T. Verizon actually sells an unlocked iPhone due to a consent decree with the federal government. And then she could use it on any carrier.

Rick recently upgraded to the iPhone 6. He set it up just like the iPhone 4s he used to have and his data usage has skyrockted, even though he's using it exactly the same. Leo says that there was an issue where handing off from LTE to Wi-Fi occured, but Apple fixed that. It's more likely there are apps that are causing it, like Facebook which has autoplay on movies set by default. That can easily cause it. Also, with faster speeds, apps like YouTube will automatically bump up the quality, and use more data.

Why is Google Calendar making me sign in all the time on my iPhone 6?

Bill bought an iPhone 6 and he's had a few issues with it. He's having issues with Google Calendar asking him to re-enter his credentials every time he wants to see his calendar. Leo says to go to Mail, Contacts and Calendars in the phone's settings and add his Google account there. He should check what services he wants, and then he won't ever have to log into it again.

Dan bought an iPhone 6 and he loves it, but he needs more battery life out of it. He's looking for a good external battery, but is overwhelmed by all of the options. Leo says unfortunately the iPhone has no removable battery, which is the tradeoff for it being so thin. The iPhone 6 battery life is better, but with the larger screen, it needs more juice. That's one of the reasons Leo likes the Samsung Galaxy Phones -- he can swap out the batteries with a backup. Many people use Mophie Cases, which have a battery built into them. But they make the phone quite a bit larger.

Tom heard Leo talk about Walmart's new CurrentC/MCX payment option. Leo says that they're the king of loyalty cards, but it's complicated. Tom did use Apple Pay at Panera and it was really easy and worked great. He just put his thumb on it and it deducted money for his coffee. Nice and easy. It even told him how long ago he used it and where so he can keep track of his purchases.

Leo Tests iPhone 6 and Moto X with T-Mobile in London

In a no-holds-barred cage match of British proportions, Leo carried both the iPhone 6 and the Motorola Moto X to see how they worked in London. Since he was using T-Mobile, he got free 2G data roaming while there. And while it took a bit longer, it was data and it worked. Leo says that the Moto X has several improvements, but the iPhone 6 still has the best camera out there. Battery life is better on the iPhone 6, while he couldn't get through the day with the Moto X. But he still thinks iOS 8 has more to do to catch up with Android.
