Leo says to add her to the family plan. That will give her access. She can also get the Apple 1 plan to have access to everything. Leo says to check her iCloud account to see if the phone has been backed up. If so, she's golden. If not, she can take it to a local phone repair place and see if they can get the data off. Apple may even be able to do that.
Maryanne's iPhone 6 won't recharge and now it's dead. What can she do? Rich says that her iPhone battery could be depleted or faulty. The battery in the iPhone has a limited number of charges, and once it surpasses that, the battery will die. And being an iPhone 6, it could be that the battery needs replacing. But before doing that, she should try using a gentle burst of canned air into the lightning port. If it starts to charge, then she'll know there was just a little dirt or fluff blocking the connection. If it doesn't work, then it's time for a trip to the Apple Store.

More likely, she inadvertently activated Apple Pay, which she can do if she presses the home button twice. Pressing the home button again makes it go away. It's designed that way to make it easy to pay with Apple Pay quickly when the screen is locked.
Can she use more than one thumbprint on Touch ID? Leo says no. She can use fingers on both hands. But if it doesn't open, it may need to be retrained.
Miciel wants to know if he can replace the screen in the iPhone 6 Plus. Leo says that Apple makes it really hard to change parts in the iPhone now and Apple will disable the touch ID fingerprint reader if he does. They want to do it because that's the only way to maintain the secure chain of custody of his fingerprint.
Gina's iPhone 6 is having problems connecting to the internet via Wi-Fi. Leo says to make sure she can't get on anyone else's Wi-Fi. If that's not the case, then there is clearly something wrong with the phone or its Wi-Fi settings. It's possible that the settings are preventing it from connecting, but it's also likely the hardware has failed. The only real people who can solve a hardware issue are Geniuses at the Apple Store. Gina should set up an appointment and have the Genius take a look at it.
Scott has an iPhone 6 and he uses it to get around while hauling equipment, but lately it hasn't been working well -- ever since the last update. Leo thinks that Scott's iPhone has a damaged GPS receiver. He hasn't heard reports of GPS problems after updating, so he has a hunch it's a physical hardware issue. Scott should bring it into the Apple Store.

Greg wants to know if he uses a magnet to connect his phone to his dashboard, will it affect his GPS? Leo says no, it won't. In fact, many cases, like Rokform's, can use a magnet to enable you to do just that and Leo has not seen any issues. It could screw up the compass, if he's relying on that, but it shouldn't affect his GPS.
Marlene has been through 3 iPhones and she is constantly having issues being able to hear her calls after 15 minutes. Leo says it's unlikely that it's a phone issue since it happens from phone to phone. Leo suspects that it's an issue with her wireless carrier (T-Mobile). The SIM card could also be the culprit. If she's replaced that, then it's still a mystery.
In the Chatroom, one member says he has the same issue with MetroPCS which uses the T-Mobile network. So it has to be T-Mobile. If they can't fix it, they may not cop to it.
Kim dropped her iPhone and broke the screen. Apple said she has to buy a new phone because it's bent and the display won't seat. She hears that it's a common problem. Does she have any recourse? Leo says not really. Metal phones can be bent and Apple has not acknowledged any potential flaw. This is why buying Apple Care is a good investment. They will treat her better if she's bought it. Leo says that Apple gives a lot of leeway to Geniuses to replace phones, but she'll catch more flies with sugar then vinegar. But these devices are fragile and they can break.
