Barbara's Mac is starting to run out of room, and she wants to know if she can delete space from the "other" category? Leo says some of it, sure. There's likely a lot of temporary files, text messages, and the like. But you need a tool that understands what goes into the "other" category in macOS. Onyx is an app that Leo uses to clear out temporary files to make room. Another option is to move the data to iCloud and then turn on optimize storage.

George went to back up his iPhone and he got a message that he's run out of room on his laptop. What can he do? Leo recommends installing WinDerStat. It's color-coded and can show you at a glance what is taking up all that room on your laptop. Then move stuff off of it into an external hard drive. Leo also recommends buying extra space on iCloud. For $2.99 a month you can backup 50GB of space. Great deal. Backing up to it is also the easiest thing to do.
Bob wants to know why Dell tech support has gotten so bad? Leo says that's because computers have gotten so cheap, that any tech support isn't profitable to offer unless it's shipped overeas. You can purchase Gold level support, and that's going to be better, but the sad fact is, that because we want cheaper computers, there ins't going to b e any decent suport.
Gene is running out of space on his hard drive and he doesn't understand why. Leo recommends WindirStat. It will show him what is using up all that space, then he can delete it. He can also clean out his temporary files and downloads, clear his internet cache, etc. He can also uninstall programs he doesn't use all that often.
Aiden's SSD drive keeps filling up with stuff and he isn't sure what's using up space. Leo says on the Mac, he should check out Disk Inventory X. It gives him a color based representation of what's using up space and sorting by size. It even gives him the ability to move things to the trash from within the app.
There's a similar program on Windows called WinDirStat.
