Google Nexus 7
Juan's girlfriend wants an iPad mini, but he's been thinking about a Chromebook instead. Leo says that the Google Nexus 7 would be a better choice for games and internet. Chromebooks won't really play games. Leo says they're underpowered, too. The Chromebook does have a keyboard, but he can also get a bluetooth keyboard to use with a tablet.
Frank's wife has a Google Nexus 7 and wants to sign up for LTE. Leo says that Verizon is required by law to have an open network and allow sign ups. Verizon claims they're "testing" it before they sign up. Leo says that's nonsense and they're deliberately dragging their feet. Leo says it's a great option and it's unlocked so she can use it anywhere. It comes with an AT&T SIM as well. So go with AT&T if the coverage is good.
Frank also wants to transfer his contacts into the cloud. Leo says exporting data to a CSV file and then uploading that to Google will work.
Richard recently bought a Google Nexus 7 and he's having trouble with the touch screen. Leo says that Google has acknowledged the problem and is working to push an update to Android that will solve the issue. He can also just return it and get one that doesn't have the issue. He shouldn't have to wait for an update and it could be a hardware problem. No software patch can fix that.
Charlie is planning on buying a Google Nexus 7 tablet, and is wondering where to buy it. If he ordered it directly from Google, he was wondering where he'd bring it if there was something wrong. Leo says he'd have to send it in to them, because there's nowhere to go. Leo says it doesn't really matter where he gets it, though.
Richard bought a new Google Nexus 7 and he's wondering what to do with it. Leo says it's a great content consumption device, including reading ebooks, watching movies, listening to music, surfing the internet, sharing on Facebook, and writing emails. Leo says the first thing to do is create or log into a GMail account. That single sign in will do everything on Google for him.
Tim is looking at tablets and wants to know when the next Nexus 10 tablet will come out. Leo says that the Samsung Galaxy Note is a great option, but the screen resolution is a bit disappointing. We're due for a Nexus 10 update. It should be out soon. The current Nexus 10 is still a great tablet, and the Nexus 7 isn't too bad either.
