Why Can't My Chromebook Print Anymore?

Chuck bought a printer for his Chromebook and now he's getting messages that Google won't be supporting his printer anymore. What gives? Leo says that Google has killed its Cloud Print service (more info here). And so, Chuck can't use the internet to print anything. But Leo assures that the Chromebook will have a printing feature if his Chromebook is on the same network. Just like a Windows and Mac machine.

Are Google Chromebooks Worth the Money?

Robert has been looking at Chromebooks lately, and was told that Google makes a Chromebook and Chromebox, but hasn't seen any. Are they worth the money? Leo says that Google makes excellent Chromebooks, and they recently created the Pixel Slate with a detachable keyboard. But coming in May is Google IO, and the word is that they're going to announce a new PixelBook model. Supposedly, that means the previous model is going to drop in price.

James is thinking about getting a Chromebook. Leo likes them, now that he understands them. The Chromebook is a laptop that uses a browser based operating system that's very simple to use. James would just have to turn it on, and he'd have a browser. Then he could use Chrome extensions that give him access to a wide variety of applications. And everything is stored in the cloud.

Leo says that the fundamental difference between a Chromebook and a Windows laptop is that there's very little storage on a Chromebook -- everything is meant to be accessed from the cloud. The entire Chromebook is basically like using only the Google Chrome web browser on a Windows computer.
