Caroline's son wants a gaming computer, but she doesn't have a lot of money and wants to know what Leo can recommend. Leo says that if you're on a budget, it's a good time to buy a gaming console. Microsoft's Xbox 1S is about $250 right now, where the Xbox 1S Fortnight Edition is $100 off as well. Then you can get him a regular computer for homework. Keep him on a console and leave it in the living room so that way you have control over how much he games.
Cynthia is having issues with streaming HBO Go on her PS3. Is this a bandwidth issue? Leo says it likely could be. But if she's streaming Netflix with no problem, then she'll have to look elsewhere. She should try using another streaming option like Roku. Cynthia should log into HBO.com and see if she can stream from her laptop. If she can, then it's an issue with the PS3. She should also connect her hardware via ethernet and see if it will stream from there. Another issue may be congestion when she's streaming wirelessly.
Russell bought a Playstation 4 and he can't create a Playstation ID because it says it's "not allowed." Sony doesn't know why it's happening. Leo says if trying a different ID isn't working, then it could be an issue with his IP address being blocked. Leo says that sometimes an abusive user can cause so much trouble that Sony will ban the ID and nobody can use it. That may be the case here. If the IP address is attached to the ID, then that IP may now be associated with the banned account now.
