Bill is having issues with losing the internet on his iPhone X. Leo says that this is a known issue with the iPhone X, and he thinks it may be a manufacturing issue. Since he loses connectivity on his network, and it comes back after he reboots the router, that leads him to believe that the router is losing the iPhone's IP address. He can set a static IP address on the phone in the settings, but he'll have to go into the router settings to reserve the IP address. A new router could solve this issue, but don't spend money unless necessary.
Ashley's having problems with her refurbished iPad, so Leo advises resetting it. To do that, she'll need to press and hold the on/off switch and home button at the same time until she sees the Apple logo. Another option is a DFU reset. She'll have to plug in her iPad to the computer, open iTunes, then turn if off, and press and hold the on/off button for 3 seconds. Then she'll add the Home button for another 10 seconds. This will reset the firmware. If she sees the Apple logo, she'll have to start over.
Michele is having issues with her iPad 2. The Wi-Fi is dropping out and her apps disappear and reappear. Is it wearing out? Leo says that what Michele is dealing with is a "Springboard crash." It may be corrupted. She should try to backup her iPad, which she should do regularly using iTunes. Once she's got it backed up, she should do a complete factory reset. It may even need to have a DFU reset.
Seven has been having issues with his iPhone and the Apple store says there's a bad app causing the problem, and he should wipe it. When he restores from iCloud, however, that app will come back. Leo says that the Apple Genius isn't being much of one this time. Apple vets all the apps, so it's unlikely the app is the culprit.
