Brian is having problems with his Amazon Echo. It tells him it's not connected and to try again later. Leo says that is more likely a WiFi failure, not an Echo issue.
Sam has an ARRIS cable modem and when he's plugged it into his router, he's not sure what the lights mean. Leo says that one is for connecting to the cable company for internet access. If it's off, he's not getting access. There's also a "link light" which will be solid when connected via ethernet, and when data goes back and forth, it blinks. Then there's the uplink and downlink lights. The manual should tell him what they mean. If one is off, then he'll know where the problems are.
Harry is reinstalling the Windows Vista OS on a friend's computer and now it's connected to "an unidentified" router with a local access only. He can't get online. Leo advises connecting via hardwire. If that works, then it's a setting that's not allowing it to get online. A driver may need to be downloaded as well. Getting the motherboard drivers from the manufacturer could solve it.
Carrie is having issues with Google Chrome not loading properly, and reload doesn't really work. Leo says that it sounds like her internet connection is erratic. A loading error usually means the computer can't make a connection. The website may be down as well.
Gary has a Google Nexus 7 but he's having issues when he searches with "inconsistent UID" errors. He's been told to wipe his data and restore, and it should go away. Leo says that's probably the best option. He's also having issues watching Hulu with it. Leo says that Hulu blocks mobile browsers.
