Steve updated his iPhone to iOS 9.3.5. Leo says it's important because it fixes the exploit that enables countries to spy on iPhone users. But now Siri isn't working for Steve. He gets an error that he can't understand: "Please Try Again." Leo says a dirty microphone can easily do that. If it's also an issue via Bluetooth, then it points to something else. It could be a bad update. He can still dictate messages, though. Leo says that's a Messages issue then. The only thing he can do is backup his phone and do a factory reset.

Sharon is finally upgrading from her iPhone 4, and she's wondering if the iPhone 6 is a bit too large. She can also get the iPhone 5 for free, so she's wondering what she should do. Leo says that the iPhone 5 really isn't free, she's just paying for it over time.
Sharon would probably like the iPhone 6 better. It's only $70 down. If she's paying for it over a two year contract anyway, she really should go with the iPhone 6. She'll have the Touch ID fingerprint reader for security, and a host of other features that make it worth it.
Doug ordered a new iPhone 6 Plus. He has his old iPhone 4 backed up. He also has his Samsung phone backed up. He wants to restore the apps he had from his old iPhone, and his calendars and contacts from the Samsung, to the new iPhone 6 Plus.
Leo says backup the iPhone 4 to iTunes and restore it to his new iPhone. Then sync the contacts to Google and log into his Google account on the iPhone 6 Plus. It'll sync and his contacts and calendars will be there.
The iPhone 6 was previewed on Tuesday, with pre-orders to be handled starting on the 12th. Leo tried to pre-order at midnight and went to bed empty handed around 3am, just as he expected. The larger iPhone will be a huge interest and it's also the one with supply shortages. Leo wanted the larger one because of the larger screen, better image stabilization (optical), and better battery life. But aside from that, the 4.7" and 5.5" are the same. Leo was finally able to get the iPhone 6 Plus through Sprint for his mom and the smaller 4.7" iPhone 6 through Verizon for himself.
