Gary misses the program Little Snitch. Leo says it's a great program that watches outbound traffic, and it's still around. Is there something like that for Windows? Leo says to check out Alternativeto.net. He can type in any program, and it will give him the alternative for another operating system. Other programs include Glass Wire, Net Limiter, and Zone Alarm.
Dick can't find fax software anymore. Leo says that nobody really faxes with software anymore because the fax hardware simply isn't there anymore. This can be problematic since real estate companies still use hard copy faxes. Going forward, using an online service like eFax is the way to go. FaxZero is another. An all-in-one printer with a fax option is also possible. But he'll have to have a phone line to do it.
Ron has downgraded back to Windows 7 because he uses Picasa. He's now having issues with Picasa running, though. Leo says that Picasa development may have ceased because of Google Photos. Google didn't migrate Picasa Web to the new Photos system and it's likely that Google Plus will be discontinued down the road. So who knows what the future has in store.
