Pat has four macs in various locations and wants to know if they will all be synced with iCloud like DropBox does. Leo says yes and no. It will sync, but not via a folder. The key is all the same Macs running the same shared Apple ID. Can she go work on different macs simultaneously? Leo says that could be problematic. To do team operations, a good third party app is GitHub.
Darren has a brand new iPhone 6 and he's having trouble syncing his music to it from his MacBook Pro. He's missing several hundred songs and it keeps looking to sync, wearing down the battery. Doctor Mom says that if he has a music file that he's made himself, it could be blocking the sync. There's also two different bugs that can delay the sync. Here's a MacRumors link on them - http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1786762. If there's a bad track, it will cause it.
Brandon got a Google Nexus 5. He tried to plug in his Android phone into his PC but it won't sync -- it only charges. Leo says that his PC isn't loading the USB drivers for it, which is why it's not syncing. Leo says another option is to try a program called AirDroid. It will then connect over Wi-Fi and he won't have that syncing issue. It's a bit slower, but it's a good workaround.
