SatPaq is a small satellite dish that physically attaches to your cell phone and sends your messages up 22,000 miles in the air (and back down to the destination). This is a great device for communication when disaster strikes, when wide power outages occur, or during wilderness hikes in signal-less environments. While texts won't show a user's own phone number, a name can still be attached. SatPaq costs about $250 and the battery lasts around 4 months. The product uses Bluetooth to connect and supports Android and iOS.
