News broke this week that Microsoft helped the NSA figure out how to snoop on Americans by intercepting all their communications data. Leo says that bad guys know how to defeat open source encryption technology that has no back door in the source code. Sure, the NSA will automatically grab encrypted traffic, but they won't be able to crack into it in the near future.
Meanwhile, another story came out that the Russian government is going back to paper and typewriters to make it harder to grab sensitive data by digital spying. Leo says that the New York Post has the story, and everyone should take it with a grain of salt.
