Leo recently picked up the 14" MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro Processor. Although it was the base model with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, though, it still cost $2,000. Still, Leo really enjoyed using it while on vacation in Mexico. It also has a mini LEDs screen, which makes the 4K HDR video look wonderful. But some are complaining that 4K HDR video crashes the laptop. Leo hasn't experienced it though.
Likewise, TWiT also bought him the 16" MacBook Pro, sporting the M1 Max processor, maxed out with 64GB of RAM. But it wasn't delivered in time and he ended up just canceling the order since he now won't get it until late December.
What's the difference between the M1 Pro and M1 Max? Leo says the Max variant has a lot more Cores.
