Chris Photo tip this week is about indoor photography. Here are a few projects to practice indoors.
1. The hands project. Get someone to hand model for you and take some pictures. Hands can really tell a story, especially older hands.
2. Group your photos. Pretend you have a photo exposition coming up and go through your photos and group them by theme.
3. Toy photography. Taking pictures of toys has become huge. You can create some amazing scenes like digital dioramas using toys. And there are some very realistic ones out there. And it's a great way to use those old toys.
Don't forget this month's photo assignment: HOT. Take a photo of, about, or otherwise concerning the concept of "HOT" and then post it to the Tech Guy Group on Flickr. Make sure to tag it with the word "TG-HOT" as well! And if Chris likes it, it could end up on next month's photo contest review segment!
