The Giz Wiz is at the Toy Fair where he saw Oobleck! What The Heck Is It? Is it a liquid? Is it a solid? Yes, it is. It's both. Oobleck is a non-Newtonian fluid, meaning it acts as both a liquid and a solid. You can pound your hand on it (as you'll see on this week's show) and your fist will just bounce off it. And after you do that you can scoop it and roll it into a ball (as a solid), and then it can even ooze out of your hand (like a liquid)! Comes in a variety of colors. It's said to contain only non-toxic and washable materials. The kits will be under $10 and available in several colors.
Now it turns out the recipe to make Oobleck is not a secret and there are lots of recipes online. Here's a video where folks walk on, or sink into, Oobleck.
