This week's gadgets are games. Christmas is a fun time to play board games and this one is called SPEAK OUT by Hasbro. What's odd about it is that you have to put this plastic device in your mouth and then try and speak words for people to guess. Here's how it's played. Players are divided into two teams and the first person up must put a mouthpiece in, draw a card and try to speak the phrase without getting completely tongue-tied. Once the team guesses the phrase correctly, draw another card and keep going until the timer runs out to earn as many cards as possible. If a player passes on a card, the other team will automatically earn their passed card. After each player has taken two turns, count up each team’s cards and whoever has earned the most cards wins! The SPEAK OUT Game includes five mouthpieces, 200 double sided Content Cards, and a one-minute sand-timer. Available at major retailers. Ages 16 years & up/ Players: 4-5/ Approx. Retail Price: $19.99-$24.99 Available now. It's on Amazon with the same cover, but a different brand name for under $20 and Amazon prime.

The chatroom says it's hilarious.
Next is the return of SIMON. Remember the game SIMON? The new version is called SIMON AIR and works on gestures and hand motions. You have to remember the sequence, repeat the pattern to conquer the game. The game senses every hand motion and registers correct sequences. Keep winning and the speed and levels keep increasing with double moves, swoop moves, and even moves that light up all four lights! If the pattern is repeated incorrectly, a buzzer will sound and signal the end of the game. The player with the highest score is the winner! Three “AA” batteries required, demo batteries included. Available at most major retailers nationwide. Retail is $19.99. It's here on Amazon for under $15 and Amazon Prime as of 12/9/16:
