Scott Wilkinson interviewed engineers from Lytro this week, talking about their new Cinema Light Field Camera, which will allow filmmakers to change everything from depth of field to shutter speed to frame rate, all after the fact.
Caller has an old set of high quality speakers and an AV receiver that have been in storage for a few years. He's now ready to hook up a new Vizio P Series and wants to know if he can hook everything to it. Scott says the speakers will work great, but you really should update your AV receiver. The Good news is that it won't cost you very much. Sticking with Yamaha, Scott recommends the RXV381. It's only about $300. If you want Dolby 7.1, the RXV581 is $550.
