Brian had a good experience with his cable provider, which is a rare occurrence. He says that a local company in New York, RCN, actually puts Netflix on a cable channel for easier access.
Brian got a Panasonic camera that shoots 1080p at 60 fps, but he can't seem to get it to play back at 60 fps. Leo says that HDMI only plays back at up to 30fps. Is there a stand alone media player that can handle it? Leo says right now, there isn't a lot of choice out there for 1080p at 60p playback. One odd ball solution is his blu-ray player--he could put an SD card in its on board memory slot (if it has one).
The chatroom found the IncrediSonic Ultra Play IMP150 HD TV Digital Mini Media Player may do it. It says it can play any file from USB HDDs/Flashdrives/Memory Cards, and it costs $40.
