Best Buy has worked hard to kill what is known as "showrooming", where shoppers go check out a product at brick and mortar stores and then buy it online. 47% of shoppers say that they've done this.
Best Buy is embracing the practice, though, calling its stores "the ultimate holiday showroom." CEO Hubert Joly believes that customer service can seal the deal, rather than the lowest price. And Leo agrees, saying that with Amazon charging tax on products now, it appears that the benefit of shopping online is beginning to diminish.
