Chris heard the call about using a quadcopter, and he says there's several cameras that provide a live view from a smartphone. There's also a tool called CamRanger which allows you to view image from your smartphone.
Since Leo is going to Europe next week, Chris has some tips on what to take on a once in a lifetime trip like that. Chris says how much gear you take depends on who you're going with. But Chris says sharing lenses can be dangerous if you're using matching cameras because you both may want to use the same lenses at the same time. Also, don't buy your camera right before your trip. Give yourself time to learn your camera. In general, Chris tends to travel light, with an all around lens like a 24-105mm. The bare essentials. It's most important to always have your camera ready to go, in your hand, and be ready to take your shot when something happens.
Don't forget our current assignment - Loud! Take a photo of, about, or otherwise concerning the concept of "loud" and then post it to the Tech Guy Group on Flickr. Make sure to tag it with the word "loud"as well! If Chris likes it, it could end up on our next photo segment after Leo gets back!
