Mike is looking for a dock for his MacBook Pro since it only has the one USB-C connector. Leo says that he uses one from Other World Computing. Apple has confused everything with USB-C because it can connect to Thunderbolt 3 or USB 3, and it really doesn't specify what works and what doesn't. On top of that, there's only one port.
Phyllis has an iHome radio dock that only plays FM radio. Leo says that seems to be the trend now in hardware. It saves a little money to only have one antenna. Doctor Mom says it's a dock and as such, she can stream AM radio from it through the phone. Leo recommends the iHeartRadio app and TuneIn. Both apps are free.
Bob is replacing a PC laptop and docking station with a 13" Mac Pro with Retina. He needs docking stations on both ends with external monitors and network connections. Leo says that Apple doesn't do docking stations anymore. Thunderbolt monitors will handle the external part with connectors for keyboards and monitors. All he'll need to do is plug it in. He won't even have to open the MacBook Pro.
