You really need a high speed Internet connection to do this, but you might get a decent image on dial-up if you used your cell phones for the audio. I recommend the Logitech Quickcam and MSN Messenger for Windows users. Mac users can use iChat A/V and the iSight.
My new favorite Internet phone also has a camera and video screen. The Packet8 Phone is $500, but you’ll get inexpensive VoIP and if you’re calling someone with another Packet8 the best video quality I’ve ever seen. I used it when I was in Canada last week and it was like being home.
Probably not. Windows 95/98/Me all come with a file called Rundll.exe. According to Microsoft Windows NT/2000/XP don’t ship with it. In fact, these versions of Windows can’t use it. This is an odd program. Daniel has a Canon digital camera and uses the Canon software to copy pictures from it. But there’s a problem with the rotated pictures. These pictures cannot be copied over the network. They’re fine locally. Copying them to another folder fixes the problem.
First, make sure you’re actually pressing the Forward button. Forward does not put any address in the To: field. Reply does. In fact, that’s the chief difference between them. Of course you can delete any addresses in the To: field by tabbing to that field and pressing the Delete key.
