- Blu-ray disks have enough space on them to include an uncompressed (lossless) Audio.
- The PS3 has not been able to deal with DTS HD in the past but now they can
- It really depends on the studio if they use DTS HD
- It is becoming more common, and most disks do now have it
- Scott himself can hear the difference, and you do need to have fairly good equiptment
- When you get over 30, you do lose your high’s

Dick Debartolo - Animal Clips
Animal Clips are like little animal heads that have a little hook. It’s not Velcro but it’s like Velcro. You can change the little Animal Heads.
You clip them to the side of your desk or computer, and then you roll up the cable you’re not using, and put it in the animal’s mouth.
Steve Gibson - Windows Meta File issue
- Make sure you are running Microsoft Update (not Windows Update)
- By just showing an image, bad guys can gain access to your computer
- There are now targeted attacks against specific individuals
- We’re really seeing a problem with security where viewing an image could cause an intrusion
- It’s now how quickly those machines get patched
- You’ll probably want it to automatically install updates
- There’s really nothing you can do to stop the attack

There’s been a Divorce video on YouTube by Tricia Walsh Smith. She talked about how her husband is trying to evict her, and his horrible family. In this video, she calls her office and tells his assistant the same thing.
YouTube along with cheap camcorders has made it possible for people to put the most intimate parts of their lives up there.
Nerdy People may live longer. Nancy Barrackman said that primates with larger brains tend to live longer and have better primal instincts.

Q Karen in New York - Manage Music Manually
There’s a feature in the advanced menu in iTunes for your iPod, which allows you to drag files manually to the iPod. Leo recommends you use the Laptop as the main iTunes for your iPod.
You’ve got plenty of space on your laptop for that iPod. You don’t have to get rid of it from your Desktop.
1. You need to copy all the music files off your desktop onto your laptop
* Go into My Music and copy the iTunes folder
2. You need to log into the iTunes Music Store, and authorize your laptop to use that music
* You can do that on up to 5 machines
3. Finally just Sync your iPod to your laptop

Hour 2
Q Paul in Long Beach, CA - Vista isn’t synchronizing the right drive
Microsoft has a more sophisticated tool called “SyncToy” and that should do exactly what you want.
The Sync Center in Vista is made for people who don’t want to mess with it. Windows Live FolderShare allows you to copy and sync files between computers. It mirrors everything on all computers you setup.
That would keep your files the same across a few PCs. However it has a 2GB limit.
Q Professor Terry in Ohio - HD Audio?
You need to get a receiver that can support the DTS. HDMI Cables can carry audio. You will want to get an AV receiver that supports HDMI. You’ll have to have a player that can handle the new Codecs.
The receiver is certain not to have DTS as it needs to support HDMI. The Yamaha RXV663, and Onkyo TX 606 are both great and in the $600 range, and Sony is coming out with the Sony STR - DG920.
All three of those will be able to do DTS and Dolby True HD Audio.

Providing there is Internet access at the stables, then you should be able to use a webcam or DV Cam connected to your computer, and stream over a free service such as uStream, Stickam or Yahoo! Live.
You can get any Logitech camera, and the new ones are compatible with OSX.

Q Chris in Arizona - Portable Video Player
With some you do have to download Codecs and filters, which some people get confused over, but people like you can understand it. It annoys Leo a little that you have to download all these little things, but that’s the way it is.
The good thing about the Archos is the fact it has a nice big screen and replaceable batteries.
Q Debra in California - Wordpad won’t print
Your instinct is right that the format in Wordpad is messed up. Make sure the print margin is correct. Make sure the font colors are right. You might want to open the Registry Editor and delete the entries for Wordpad.
Also make sure you’re not printing to a file, make sure Wordpad is printing to your printer.
Q Karen in California - New Monitor
The more accurate the monitor, the more expensive. You’ll never get a monitor that will give you the full Adobe RGB space. The EIZO monitor only does 92% of the Adobe space, but is the best out there.
The Apple Cinema Displays are very good. The Dell 24″ is $800, but it’s not the best… It’s pretty good, but not as good as the Apple Displays or the EIZO monitors.
The Samsung monitors are excellent LCD backlit displays. Leo uses a Samsung and likes it a lot. You’ll want to do a lot of test prints to make sure both the printer and monitor are calibrated.
