You need a Mac driver for it, because it’s a Windows device. Once you get Mac drivers for it, and Flash can see that camera, you should be able to use the dazzle.

A good soloution would to be, go out and get a cheap USB cam.

Hitachi, and IBM both make external hard drives make drives that encrypt the data on the fly. If your using Windows, TrueCrypt is an excellent encryption system which is free and open source. Both these drives have to be given the correct password before you can even access them.

Make sure you install all the Windows updates once you reinstall Windows. Turn on Windows Update and make it install Automatically.

Once you have this software on your machine, there’s really no way to get it off your machine. It claws itself into the system. These guys have a huge incentive to stay on your system, because they can put other bad stuff on your system.

The best way to get rid of this stuff is to reinstall Windows. If you really can’t reinstall Windows then you can use software like Smit Fraud Fix. The only way to be sure you’ve gotten rid of it all, is to backup all your data, take those system recovery disks, you then format the drive.

It’s a nice way to get it to your desktop. Anyone who’s using Outlook Express should definitely switch to Windows Live Mail.

It’s a little tricky, but can be done. You’ll need to install Windows Live Mail first. Live Mail replaces Outlook Express, and because Hotmail is a Microsoft product, it works really nicely with Windows Live Mail. Once you do that, you can go to the Internet Options, and you can either select Windows Live Mail or Hotmail.

It’s a nice way to get it to your desktop. Anyone who’s using Outlook Express should definitely switch to Windows Live Mail.

The Canon HG10 is a very good Hard Drive camcorder, and that works well with the Mac. It’s High Def. It has 24 frames per second, and saves you a lot of the file size.

Final Cut Express is pretty easy to use, and works very well if iMovie doesn’t quite work for you. Eventually support for iMovie ‘06 won’t be supported. If you go to the Apple website, they’ll have a list of compatible format’s that you’ll be using.

It’s about $1000 for the Canon HG10.

You can always just drag from the lower right corner to the lower left. You just have to start your click from outside the file group. Another way you can do it, is click the first file you want, press and hold down shift, and then select the lowest one. At that point, press Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V on the new menu, or select Edit and then Paste.

It generally runs just as fast, and it will run right aside OSX. If the XP Disk is a full install disk, then you’re able to install it on VMWare. You also just type in the key from your old machine, and you’ll be good to go.

Question: If I go into Notepad for example, and hit copy, the word copy becomes part of the screen.

It’s usually something to do with the Video driver. Go to the Video Card manufacturers website, and you’ll need to get an updated driver. That should fix it.

The slow ness may not just be because of the Operating System getting bogged down, but also the Hard Drive may be a little shook up and it may be getting hard to read. It wouldn’t hurt to do a Secure Erase of the hard drive which will write over every bit on the hard drive.

Most of them don’t have any premium channels. It’s mainly international channels. The Quality isn’t great, and definitely don’t expect HBO, or MSNBC…etc. Really it’s just a collection of free Internet TV streams.

The way Apple TV works, is by buying them on iTunes, and then stream it to your Apple TV. It takes a little work, but it can definitely be cheaper if you only watch certain shows.

A lot of people are loving the ASUS Eee PC, which is a 2lb laptop. Also Nokia’s 810 Tablet has just come out. It’s small, just a little bit bigger than a mobile device. Both of them are roughly $400, and both run Linux.

A great gift for a child or nerd this holiday season is the OLPC - One Laptop Per Child. For $400 you can get one for both a child in need, and one for yourself.

These machines allow them to become educated, and as a nation become economically self-sufficient. The systems run Linux, and on an AMD Processor. Their solid machines, that run e-toy as the operating system, which is designed for education and designed for kids.

With the OLPC, a mesh network is created, which means hundreds of these machines can use the same network connection spread over miles.
