On Wednesday, Apple announced a complete revamp to the iPod line. Leo’s predictions were almost completely wrong. There were no mentions of the Beatles at all!

What irked the most people, though, was a $200 price drop to $399 in the iPhone. All those people who waited hours in line were incredibly infuriated. A day later, however, Steve Jobs announced a $100 credit for iPhone owners who purchased before the price drop. Still, Apple is making a huge profit on the iPhone. The reason for the price drop was to have an enormous Christmas sales season.

    • Exact same thing as an iPhone…without the phone
    • Completely flash-based
    • Has a Safari web browser for surfing the web on WiFi
    • Even has YouTube!
    • 8mm thin
    • 8gb for $299 and 16gb for $399
  • iPod Shuffle
    • Same thing, but new colors
    • 1gb for $79
  • iTunes WiFi Store
    • Buy iTunes music on the fly!
