- Logitech Harmony system keeps all codes for devices on their own database
- If database doesn’t have code, set it up manually
- Then code is sent to Harmony’s database for everybody else to use
- Usually program remote by connecting to computer and downloading information from Internet

- There is now no way to completely clean your system
- The rule of thumb is that once you are compromised, the only way to make sure you are completely safe is to reformat your machine

- When you send an online greeting card, you are giving a 3rd party your friend’s email address
- On the Mac, there is a great program called SpamSieve to filter spam before Apple Mail gets to it
