Alice in Riverside has a firewall and an anti-virus but wants to know if she needs anti-spyware software, too. I’d say so. Spyware software is safe, free, and non-intrusive. I recommend Spybot and AdAware.

Matt in Temeculah asks if he need a firewall if his systems are behind a broadband router. No. The router is actually an excellent firewall.
