I’m a freelance web developer and am currently webmaster of about half a dozen web sites including The Toilet Museum, the finest roadside attraction dedicated to toilets-in-art on the Information Highway. I also work as a subcontractor developing web-based business solutions for a variety of clients using ASP (or PHP), SQL, XML, and of course, HTML, Javascript, and CSS. The next thing I hope to cram into my brain is this .Net thing. You might see me in the chatroom as just plain old ‘Burt.’
When I’m not lurking around Leoville, I enjoy The Simpsons, Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, The Young Ones, Father Ted, The Avengers, South Park, ER, The Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Firesign Theatre, many styles of music from Louis Armstrong to Marilyn Manson, reading thrillers, horror, sci-fi and non-fiction, my cat, and my family.
Well, not so much my cat. I mean, she’s always staring at me. It’s so unnerving. I say to her: Hey! You! Take a picture, it’ll last longer. Then she just blinks, with those cat eyes of hers, and looks away, until she’s sure I’m not looking at her anymore, and then she’s right back to staring at me. It’s enough to drive me mad! Mad, I say! Mad!
I live in New York City
With my cat
Who won’t stop staring at me
