I no longer have to live in the HOBO JUNGLE…I rented a SAFE, CLEAN, NICE little APT> in Tijuana….however, MANY in SAN DIEGO have SEEN me….I WAS & AM a CREATER OF RELIGIOUS “WARNINGS” on SCRAP CARDBOARD, which I STICK on FREEWAY OFFRAMPS! I had a LANDSCAPE by the MIRA MESA offramp, off SouthBound !−5! Many KIND FOLKS gave me CHANGE to buy Coffee & Food at Mc. Donalds…WHERE I COULD ALSO access INTERNET….& at NOON-TIDE the HIGH TECH PROS would assist me WITH my LAP-TOP CONFIGERATION! I have had 4 Notebooks (2 were stolen…) A Toshiba Tecra, w P III Processor, 2/ a SONY VIAO w/ AMD (stolen!) a VIA Nehimiah Based 1.2 Budget Computer (NO PCPMIA slots! NO built in WiFi) and a DELL LATITUDE X-300 (Stolen) I now have a HOME BUILT AMD ATHLON 1300 XP with EGC Gamer Motherboard PC, I have 2 HDDs, a 80 GIG running WinXPpro (with SP 1) and 10 GIG MAXTOR with LINSPIRE…I can SELECT BOOT from GRUB….I DO NOT KNOW HOW I DID IT! As Vet4Peace said in his post about ReConfig. a HDD, I head beat, SCREAMED & MADE GRUNTING NOISES, and my Mexican Neighbours HAD A WONDERFUL few days of Entertainment! I have a bad problem…we OLD FOLKS call it “C-R-S” I CAN’T REMEMBER STUFF!” This is WHY SHOWS like LEO’S & SAVING ALL BACK ISSUES of COMPUTER EDGE is VITAL 4 me! EXAMPLE….I forgot the DOS command to DISABLE too many BOOT_UP functions!
