Acer AL2216W 22” Widescreen LCD Monitor for $205 from Woot.
(refurb rox0rz)…only one stuck pixel near the bottom, a lovely shade of blue, that I can live with. I tried the massage method on it but it did not work, I’ll try a software remedy on it later.
What a difference from my old 17″ CRT!!
Max/Native Resolution: 1680 x 1050 but at that rez everything was too tiny for my tired old eyes, so I use 1140 x 900 which is very close to the correct aspect & makes everything a nice size, yet still leaves alot of extra screen area to play with. I marvel at it every day.

I shoot pics every day out on the road with my little
Casio Exlim EX-Z60. I love it for it’s form factor, it’s thin.
I also shoot a little DV vid with a Sharp VL-Z3 ViewcamZ that I got cheeeeeep at Refurbish Depo. This model had problems with the dew sensor shutting off the camera all the time, (why it was brand new & so cheap), but it was easily fixed by shorting out the sensor leads with a tiny wire.

I am a home PC user with no commercial experience except for a short stint in the 80′s in a data proccessing center for a large insurance company. (State Farm in Rohnert Park)
I mounted 10″ reels of tape on STC tape drives all night, woo woo!
Then we went to IBM cartage drives and now I don’t know what they are doing. The IBM mainframes there had stacks of giant harddisks mounted on big horizontal axels, rows & rows of em’ it was trippy.
