No I don’t work for Rogue Amoeba, these guys just make great cheap and free Mac software. SoundSource allows you to route Audio from various sources to different outputs on your Mac. Also allows very fast switching of input and output sources. for example, you can send iTunes audio to your sound card and system sounds to the little speaker on the front of your computer. The interface resides in thee menu bar and the program uses virtually no system resources.

Very nice instant messaging client for Mac OS X. Works with many different services and networks including AIM, MSN, Yahoo, and others. You can customize it until the cows come home with message views, contact list themes, sounds, dock icons, etc. It is open source with a very active online forum for support and feedback.
