HTML goodies has great tutorials for learning HTML. It can teach you the basics and help you with making your very own website. Kali’s Web Shoppe is also great for learning HTML.

After you’re done with that, look at this:

That website has a long chart of HTML codes.

http://www.yourhtmlsource.com/ (teaches you the basics with examples, lots of highlighted,
clickable word links for words that might be unfamiliar, as well as a good dose of humor!)

     ~and~

http://www.w3schools.com/ (This site has a ton of stuff— covering not only HTML, but XML, Browser Scripting, Server Scripting, .NET, web building, and a lot more. They give examples but also have sections where you can try out what you’ve just learned—and quickly see what effects the changes you made had.)

 These sites are great for a ‘newbie’ to HTML (like me ;)  ) as well as someone who 
 already knows something about this interesting language.
