Proboards- This is great for begginers. Although, sometimes their serves do slow down, I still recommend it!

YaBB- Now, if you would like to create you own forum from scratch, this is a great site that will tell you how. Just download the files that give you a walk through on how to do it.

Golala- This is powered by Invision Power. You need to know CSS, that way you can edit your site colors and what not. It’s pretty easy for your average computer person, but it has its difuculties too.

Phpbb If you have access to a server running php/mysql, this is one of the leading forum solutions, and it’s free!
