Turn your computer into a video recorder with a capture card and appropriate software.

Dump Internet Explorer, use Firefox. It’s safer and more powerful.
Verizon Wireless is offering EVDO high speed data in many areas. It’s averaging around 600kbps - pretty good for a cell phone.
For notebook computers I recommend IBM, Toshiba, Fujitsu, and Dell. I’m less fond of Gateway and HP.
If you want to make phone calls over the Internet here are the programs I recommend:
