Chris says that smartphone cameras have gotten so good that most people are leaving their DSLRs at home. To that end, Chris says there's some great apps that can help make your smartphone pictures be all they can be.
- Halide is one of the fastest operating apps on the market. It has manual and auto focus, and is easy to use. It features a live histogram, focus peaking, and a built in level.
- A great app for low light is Cortex Camera. This combines dozens of individual photos to create a single high quality and noise free image.
- Lastly, StreetGraphy. This will automatically apply settings to create very interesting images.
Don't forget our current assignment - "Foot". Take a photo of, about or otherwise concerning the concept of "Foot" and then post it to the Tech Guy Group on Flickr. Make sure to tag it with the word "Foot" as well! And if Chris likes it, it could end up on next month's photo contest review segment!
